What a year

2014 has come to an end, and what an awesome year for Brisbricks.

It started all the way back in January, where the club took its large LEGO train display (from the 2013 Brisbane Expo’s) all the way to Brickvention in Melbourne. It was great to be at Australia’s largest LEGO event and gave us many ideas for improving our own Expo’s here in Brisbane.

In Brisbane, we held two major LEGO Fan Expos, with the last one at Chandler having more than 11,000 visitors breaking all our existing records.

Brisbricks also participated in a number of smaller events, such as the Star Wars days at Dreamworld (May the Fourth Be With You), Brisbane Model Train Show and assisted as usual with Ryan MacNaught’s LEGO display at the Ekka giving thousands an opportunity to play with LEGO.

2014 also saw a great involvement with the community with contributions to school fairs, library displays and a total of $40,000 given away to local charities!

Goodbye wonderful 2014 and welcome 2015. May you get even better…
