More successful events!

Like the previous year, BrisBricks participated in the Stormtrooper weekend in Dreamworld 23-24 May. The big attraction was the  501st Legion Redback Garrison alongside their associated Star Wars cosplay fan clubs such as the Rebel Legion – Tatooine Base, but BrisBricks added some LEGO love to it all. We displayed a number of Star Wars models and a themepark (Screamworld) complete with motorised rides and a parade of Star Wars minifigs.

Soon after, it was time for BrisBricks Pine Rivers LEGO Fan Expo, our first major Expo of 2015. Over the two days 13-14 June, more than 5000 visitors came along to Strathpine to see the amazing displays and try some of the interactive stands: Build your own racer, LEGO Mindstorm Sumo Wrestling and the ever popular track for remote controlled 4WD LEGO cars. There was also a large selection of LEGO speciality retailers selling old and new LEGO sets, minifigs, loose bricks and LEGO jewellery.

The LEGO City Train scenery attracted a lot of attention at our Expo in Strathpine.

Now we are busy preparing for the next events – firstly displaying our large LEGO train display at the miniature train show at the Gold Coast in July, but our biggest Expo of the year, our LEGO Fan Expo in Chandler 3-5 October is not far away. It will feature more displays and more retailers. Ticket sales will start soon.
